Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how LotFuzz ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the service available at lotfuzz.com (the "Service").
1. Information We Collect
Account information. When you register, we collect your name, email address, company name, and a password (stored as a salted hash — we never store plain-text passwords).
Enforcement records. Users of the Service create violation records that may include vehicle license plate numbers, vehicle descriptions, photographs, location/property details, timestamps, and notes. This data is entered by our customers and their teams in the course of their parking enforcement work.
Billing information. Subscription payments are processed by PayPal. We receive subscription status and transaction identifiers, but we do not receive or store your full payment card or bank details.
Technical information. Like most web services, our servers log IP addresses and request information for security, rate limiting, and troubleshooting.
2. What We Don't Do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- We do not use your enforcement records for any purpose other than providing the Service.
3. How We Use Information
- To provide, maintain, and secure the Service.
- To send transactional emails — such as violation notifications to the property contacts and tow companies configured by your team, password resets, and billing notices.
- To respond to support requests.
- To enforce our Terms of Service and protect against fraud and abuse.
4. How Information Is Shared
- Within your organization: violation records are visible to users of your account according to the roles your administrators assign (for example, property owners may have read-only access to their properties' violations).
- Notification recipients: when a violation is filed, the details and photos are emailed to the recipients your team configures for that property (property contacts and tow companies).
- Service providers: we use infrastructure providers to host the Service and deliver email (currently Amazon Web Services) and PayPal for payment processing. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services.
- Legal requirements: we may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of any person.
5. Cookies and Local Storage
The Service uses browser local storage to keep you signed in (an authentication token) and to remember preferences such as a selected plan. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers.
6. Data Retention
We retain account and enforcement data for as long as your account is active. Enforcement records remain available so your organization has a documented history. If you close your account, you may export your data first; we will delete your data within a reasonable period after termination, except where retention is required by law.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, role-based access controls, and rate limiting. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
8. Your Rights and Choices
- You can access and update your account information in your settings.
- You can export your organization's violation data as CSV at any time.
- You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law (such as access, correction, or deletion requests). Contact us to exercise them.
If you are a driver whose vehicle information appears in a violation record, that record was created by the parking enforcement company using our platform — they are the controller of that data. Contact the property or enforcement company involved; we will assist our customers in responding to lawful requests.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision.
